A routine jaunt

My overnight trip to the home of football passed off fairly unexceptionally. The injury-hit but still glorious gunners won without exerting themselves unduly, I made it across the channel despite the French air traffic controllers' strike, and arrived home to find a tartiflette and wine welcome. The outward flight eventually arrived over an hour late, possibly due to the above mentioned strike which is only seriously affecting flights out of Orly, but as I had a couple of hours to waste before J&C picked me up from the airport en route to London N5, the only problem was boredom due to forgetting to take any reading material.

It was crisp, sunny winter weather all the way, from Lyon to Stansted, & back. And there appears to be no end in sight...
